I have come a long way in a year. Last March I met a fellow composer/musician who worked in the business. He did me the favour of listening to some of my work and gave me some useful advice. The upshot of which was that I took the plunge and purchased my MACBook with LogicPro X, Native Instruments 'Komplete Kontrol' Keyboard and Komplete 11 Select software.
It's taken me a while to get to grips with it, the learning curve has been steep, but I'm proud to say that the music I'm producing as a result of this investment is some of the best work I've ever done.
I have a lot of classical works out there but occasionally I have the urge to produce something with a techno vibe. The urge has resulted in 6 new tracks which I have mastered and released onto the streaming platforms.
